Privacy Policy

Last updated June 25, 2026

Your job search is personal. This policy explains, in plain language, what data hireme collects, why, and the control you have over it.

01Information we collect

We collect the information you give us to run your job search: account details (username, email), your profile (headline, skills, location, experience), the resumes you upload or build, and the searches and applications you create.

We also store basic usage data — such as the number of searches you run — to operate features like free limits and billing.

02How we use your information

We use your data only to provide the service: scanning job sources for relevant roles, scoring and optimising your CV, generating tailored cover letters, tracking your applications, and managing your account and any subscription. We do not sell your personal data.

03AI processing

To search the web and generate CVs and cover letters, relevant parts of your profile and the job description are sent to our AI provider for processing. This data is used to produce your results and is not used to train third-party models without your consent.

04Cookies

We use a small number of cookies that are essential to keep you signed in and remember your session. We do not use advertising cookies.

05Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your resumes and applications at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

06Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us and we will respond promptly.

07Security

Passwords are hashed, sessions are signed, and access to your data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

08Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
