We keep cookies to the minimum needed to run hireme. This page lists exactly what we set and why.

01What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We use them sparingly — only where they are needed to make the service work or to remember a choice you have made.

02Essential cookies

These are required for hireme to function and cannot be switched off:

  • Session cookie — keeps you signed in securely after you log in. It holds a signed identifier, not your password.
  • Sign-in state — short-lived values used during Google sign-in to protect against cross-site request forgery.

03Preference cookies

If you dismiss the cookie notice, we store a single flag in your browser so we don’t show it again. This is kept on your device and is not personal data.

04What we don’t use

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party marketing pixels. We do not sell your data.

05Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from staying signed in.

06Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
